Delhi’s famous theater organization ‘Treasure Art Association’ is going to stage its much talked about play ‘Pashmina’ in Jaipur. This play will be played at Rajasthan International Center on 17th December (Sunday). There will be two shows of this play which will be at 5 pm and 7.30 pm. Written by Mrinal Mathur, this play has been directed by renowned theater artiste Sajida Saji. Sajida Saji is a graduate from the country’s leading theater training institute, National School of Drama (NSD) and is playing a lead role along with directing in this play.

‘Pashmina’ is a very sensitive play written on the background of Kashmir. Which connects the fabric of human relationships with the delicate thread of Pashmina. The play makes an attempt to create a balance in the battle between ‘this’ and ‘that’ by walking on the thin rope of humanity like a skilled acrobat.
Many successful stagings of the play have taken place
Earlier, this play has been successfully staged in Delhi, Mumbai, Amritsar and Kolkata, where it was highly appreciated by the audience and theater critics. This play has also been selected for the Triveni Theater Festival to be held in the year 2024.
Apart from this, this play by writer Mrinal Mathur has been one of the winners of the play writing competition organized by Sahita Manch. In this presentation, another renowned theater artist Joy Mysnam, honored with the Mahindra Theater Excellence Award, will also be seen acting on stage.
