TVS Motor Company has launched the Black Edition for the Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycles. Bringing in an all black colour theme, the two motorcycles are priced from Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Apache RTR 160 and Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Apache RTR 160 4V.
Both the Black Edition motorcycles feature a glossy black finish, with a black TVS Apache logo on the fuel tank. The black colour extends to the mudguards, body panels and the exhaust as well. Mechanically and in terms of the features, the two motorcycles are exactly the same as the standard variants.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V uses the 160cc motor which puts out 15.82bhp in Sport mode, with the Rain and Urban modes keeping the motor output reduced. The Apache RTR 160 4V meanwhile uses a 160cc oil-cooled motor which makes 17.35bhp. Both motorcycles get riding modes, which alter the engine and ABS for different riding environments.
