Unified Payments Interface (UPI) was down for about two and a half hours in the country. Apart from this, the services of more than 10 banks were also affected. The reason for this technical glitch has not been revealed.
According to Downdetector, users faced problems in making payments through UPI between 7 and 9:30 pm on Wednesday evening. During this time, the maximum number of 23,000 complaints were registered. Users were also unable to transfer funds and login access.
