Jaipur, April 09, 2024.Weather forecasting agency Skymet announced the monsoon forecast on Tuesday. According to Skymet, monsoon will be normal in 2024. The agency has predicted the monsoon season to be 102% (5% plus-minus margin).The average (LPA) for the 4-month monsoon season running from June to September is 868.6 mm. Skymet Managing Director Jatin Singh said that initially there will be an impact of El Nino, but it will be compensated in the second half.Skymet has issued monsoon forecast for the second time this year.
