For the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 (REET), scheduled for Feb 27-28, 233 examination centres have been set up in Jaipur city where over 2.70 lakh candidates will sit for the exam in three shifts. The nodal officer of the District Examination Conducting Committee, Gopal Singh Shekhawat, said that a control room has been set up in room number 116 of the collectorate for smooth and successful conducting of the exam. The control room will function continuously from 6am on Feb 25 until the examination material leaves Jaipur district for RBSE in Ajmer, after the completion of the examination on Feb 28. Sub-divisional officer Jaipur (I), Rajesh Jakhar, has been appointed as the control room in-charge.
Shekhawat said that the telephone numbers of the control room for the exam centres located in Jaipur will be 0141-2209910 and 0141-2209908. Information related to the exam centres set up in Jaipur will be provided at the control room, and complaints related to the centres located in Jaipur will be resolved.
“On Thursday, level I (Classes 1 to 5) exam will be held in the first shift (10am to 12:30pm) for which 87,413 candidates have registered. In the second shift (3pm to 5:30pm), level I (Classes 1 to 5) exam will be held for which 91,537 candidates have registered. On Friday, from 10am to 12:30pm, level II (Classes 6 to 8) exam will be held for which 91,68 candidates have registered,” said Shekhawat.
