New Delhi, December 13, 2024.The ICC top brass is likely to finalise the hybrid model modalities for the Champions Trophy during a virtual meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday, it has been learnt.It has been agreed in principle that neither India nor Pakistan will travel to each other's country for ICC events. Hence, India and Pakistan will play in Dubai during the 2025 Champions Trophy which will be held from February 19 to March 9.The tournament will feature eight teams, divided into two groups. New Delhi, December 13,2024.A long-term exposure to air pollution could increase risk of blood clots in deep veins by 39 to over 100 per cent, according to a study that followed over 6,650 adults in the US for 17 years.Blood clotting conditions in deep veins are collectively known as 'venous thromboembolism', and if left untreated can block flow and cause serious complications.Researchers, including those from the University of Minnesota, analysed data on patients hospitalised for venous thromboembolism and air pollution, collected through community-level monitoring, such as by taking samples from the participants' homes.

New Delhi, December 13, 2024.As passengers remained stranded in Istanbul airport for hours owing to delays in flights to New Delhi and Mumbai, IndiGo apologised for the inconvenience and assured that the issue would be sorted at the earliest.According to reports and social media accounts, around 400 passengers travelling in IndiGo flights to New Delhi and Mumbai were left stranded at the airport for over 24 hours.“We are aware of the delays on the IndiGo flight connections to Istanbul. We accord the highest priority towards customer convenience and out teams are available at all contact points to assist customers. IndiGo apologises for the inconvenience caused to the customers,” IndiGo said in a statement.
