Diya Kumari felicitates Veer Naris at city’s military station

Jaipur, March 25, 2025.

Veer Naris were felicitated and honoured at a Veer Nari Milan Samaroh organised by the Sapta Shakti Command at Jaipur Military Station Monday. Deputy chief minister Diya Kumari attended the programme as the chief guest and felicitated the Veer Naris to acknowledge their immense sacrifice and selfless contribution towards nation-building.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, army commander of Sapta Shakti Command, and Barinder Jit Kaur, regional president of AWWA, attended the programme.

Deputy CM Diya Kumari in her address acknowledged the support and important role played by Veer Naris in being a pillar of strength for their families and society. She assured all present that the state govt was ready to make all efforts to ensure the welfare and growth of Army veterans, Veer Naris, and Veeranganas.

“Rajasthan has a rich legacy of Veeranganas and has one of the highest strengths of 11,443 Veer Naris. The programme was attended by 67 Veer Naris from Jaipur, Dausa, and Alwar districts,” said a statement issued by PRO Defence, Rajasthan
