Cricket World Cup venues to get an upgrade: Imported grass, new outfields, better floodlights

New floodlights and corporate boxes in Mumbai; a relaid pitch in Lucknow; upgraded dressing rooms in Kolkata; new outfield with imported grass in Dharamsala; a new makeshift roof in Pune; an upgraded ticketing system and improved toilets in Delhi. These are some of the projects to be undertaken at the venues that will host ICC 50-over World Cup
World Cup games will be hosted in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Dharamsala, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Kolkata. Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram stage warm-up games.
Different stadiums have different needs. Mumbai's Wankhede stadium, set to host four league games and a semi-final, will have its outfield relaid, while upgrading to new LED lighting, as well as renovating the corporate boxes and toilets....
