Indian Premier League (IPL) mini auction continues in Dubai. Australia’s Mitchell Starc became the most expensive player in IPL history. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 24.75 crore, Gujarat also bid for him till the end.

In the same auction, Australia’s Pat Cummins was sold for Rs 20.50 crore at around 2.30 pm. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Harshal Patel became the most expensive Indian player in this auction. He was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 11.75 crore.

There was an initial bidding war between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals for Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. Delhi bid up to Rs 9.60 crore and Mumbai bid up to Rs 10 crore. From here there was a bidding war between Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders. Ultimately Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs 24.75 crore.
