India records 412 fresh COVID-19 cases

New Delhi, December 26, 2023. India has recorded 412 fresh cases of COVID-19, while the number of active cases of the infection has gone up to 4,170, the health ministry said on Tuesday.The death toll due to the viral disease was recorded at 5,33,337 with three new fatalities reported from Karnataka in a span of 24 hours, according to the ministry's data updated at 8 am.

New Delhi, December 25, 2023.Adani Green Energy (AGEL) on Monday said it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply 1,799 MW of solar power.With the signing of this balance PPA, AGEL has completed the power offtake tie-up for the entire 8,000 MW manufacturing-linked solar tender awarded to it by the SECI in June 2020.According to the statement, AGEL has announced the execution of a PPA with the SECI to supply 1,799 MW of solar power.

Jaipur, December 22, 2023.Transactions through Unified Payments Interface (UPI) at retail stores in rural and semi-urban areas have increased by 118% in a year. If we talk about its value i.e. the amount transacted, it has also seen an increase of 106%.According to the data of National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), a total of 7030.51 million (about Rs 703 crore) transactions have been done from December 1 to 18 this year.
