Rajasthan Board exams will be under daily video surveillance

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct daily video surveillance and CCTV camera monitoring at all sensitive and highly sensitive examination centres during the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The opening of the envelope of question papers will also be videographed.
RBSE administrator and Ajmer divisional commissioner Mahesh Chandra Sharma, Wednesday, held meetings with district education officials of the state for the preparations of board exams, which are from March 6. A total of 1,998,509 students are appearing throughout the state in board exams.
Sharma said, said, once the question papers reach the district headquarters, the responsibility for their confidentiality and security until the end of the exam will lie with the district examination operations Committee. The board’s central control room will be operational 24 hours from March 1 to April 5.
Adequate arrangements for clean drinking water, lighting, and facilities for differently-abled individuals should be ensured at exam centres in advance. Exam centre question papers will be kept in the education department’s cabinets at police stations. Vehicles should be identified for the transportation of question papers, and robust security arrangements should be made.

Board secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma said, invigilators will be appointed at exam centres according to the number of examinees.
