1992 Ajmer rapes Case: POCSO court sentences 6 to life imprisonment

Jaipur, August 20, 2024.In the Ajmer 1992 Sex Scandal, POCSO court today gives historic verdict and declares 6 accused as guilty. All the accused were presented before the court today. The court to give its verdict in this case at 2 pm on August 20.The POSCO court found the accused Nafees Chishti, Naseem alias Tarzan, Salim Chishti, Iqbal Bhati, Sohail Ghani, Syed Jameen Hussain guilty of the crime. In 1992, the accused gangraped more than 100 girl students of Ajmer’s famous Mayo College and blackmailed them by taking their photographs. 4 accused in the scandal have already served their sentence. 15-Year-Old Student Stabbed Outside School In Udaipur Dies In Hospital

Udaipur, August 20, 2024.Three days after he was stabbed by his schoolmate, a class 10 student in Udaipur died on Monday while undergoing treatment.The stabbing incident had caused communal tensions in Udaipur, and the death of the boy has put the city further on edge. Rajasthan health department issues alert for Nipah virus

Jaipur, July 22, 2024.Rajasthan’s health department has sent an advisory on the Nipah virus to all chief medical health officers, principal medical officers, principal and controller of all medical colleges, including private institutions across the state.Dr Ravi Prakash Mathur, director of public health at the health department, wrote to officials across the state, stating, “In view of Nipah cases reported in Kerala, infection with Nipah virus can cause mild to severe infection, including swelling of the brain (encephalitis) and potentially death.
