The Virat Sindhu Fair of the Sindhi community started on Sunday with the Sindhu Ekta Run. On the first day, the saints of Amarapura formally inaugurated the fair by hoisting the religious flag. This fair, being organized by Cheti Chand Sindhi Fair Committee, Jaipur, started at the Dussehra ground in Adarsh Nagar.
Under the leadership of Fair Committee Chairman Dilip Hardasani and Fair Convener Manoj Thakwani, the religious flag was hoisted by the group of saints under the leadership of Saint Monu Ram Maharaj of Amarapura. Indus culture was visible in the fair.
Lord Jhulelal was seen blessing people while sitting on a high swing. Lord Jhulelal was being anointed from all sides. The idol of Radha Krishna was moving around and captivating everyone. The devotees were mesmerized by seeing the tableau of Shri Ram Darbar.
On the occasion of Hemu Kalani’s birthday, the Hemu Kalani Ekta Run was organized by the Indian Sindhu Sabha. Saint Monu Ram Maharaj and Kailash Sharma of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh flagged off the run. Children and youth participated in large numbers in the 3 km long run.
