Seven Pink City areas to get 24×7 water supply from April 2025
Jaipur, March 11, 2025.Come April, seven areas in Jaipur will receive round-the-clock water supply. Public health engineering department (PHED) officials said Monday they are ready to provide continuous water supply to at least seven areas in Jaipur, even during the intense summer.Manish Beniwal, chief engineer (urban and NWR), said that after Bajaj Nagar and Bani Park, PHED will incorporate seven more localities under the round-the-clock supply scheme."There is sufficient water in Bisalpur Dam and peak summer season will not be a limitation. During the pilot project in Bani Park and Bajaj Nagar areas, it was observed that the percentage of non-revenue water had decreased from 33% to 21%.
