Zomato shut down its 15-minute delivery service; profit decreased by 57% on an annual basis
New Delhi, May 01, 2025.Food delivery platform Zomato (Eternal) has shut down its quick delivery service in 15 minutes. This feature was launched just four months ago. It was introduced with heavy advertisement in metro cities like Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.Zomato Quick offered users ready-to-eat food options within 15 minutes in a 2-kilometer radius. Company CEO Deepinder Goyal recently said in an interview that the quick delivery service was facing challenges due to a lack of restaurant partners and the product-market fit (PMF) not being right.Prior to this, in 2022, Zomato also shut down its 10-minute delivery service called Zomato Instant.
