Vodafone Idea cuts losses to Rs 7,176 crore in Q2

New Delhi, November 14, 2024. ebt-laden Vodafone Idea has reported a lower consolidated net loss at Rs 7,176 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024 from Rs 8,737 crore last year. The telco had reported a net loss of Rs 6,434 crore in the June quarter of FY25. Revenue from operations increased marginally by 2 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 10,932 crore from Rs 10,716 crore a year ago. The customer revenue increased by 5.6 per cent when compared to the last quarter, aided by the recent tariff hikes undertaken by all private operators. The company said capex spend for Q2 of FY25 was Rs 1360 crore as against Rs 760 crore in Q1 of FY25. Vodafone Idea to raise Rs 2,458 cr from Nokia, Ericsson and Networks India

New Delhi, June 14, 2024. After raising Rs 18,000 crore from the market in April this year, Vodafone Idea Ltd on Thursday said its board has approved a preference share issue to mop up Rs 2,458 crore from Nokia Solutions, Networks India Private Ltd and Ericsson India Pvt Ltd. In a regulatory filing, Vodafone Idea said that it will allot 102.7 crore shares aggregating Rs 1,520 crore to Nokia Solutions and Networks India Private Limited, and remaining 63.37 crore shares aggregating Rs 938 crore to Ericsson India Private Limited. The telecom company will issue equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each at an issue price of Rs 14.80 per equity share (including a premium of Rs 4.80 per equity share) to the three entities. Vodafone Idea loss widens to Rs 7,675 cr in Q4

New Delhi, May 16, 2024.  Telecom operator Vodafone Idea on Thursday reported widening of losses to Rs 7,675 crore in the March quarter amid a rise in interest and financing cost, while its overall subscriber base shrunk. The company claimed that it reported its highest post-merger quarterly EBITDA of Rs 2,180 crore, which grew by 5.4% on a YoY basis. Its 4G subscriber base increased to 12.63 crore versus 12.26 crore in Q4FY23.Annual revenue grew to Rs 42,650 crore in FY24 versus Rs 42,180 crore in FY23, recording an annual growth of 1.1%.
