UltraTech Cement Q4 net profit rises 35% to Rs 2,260 crore

New Delhi, April 29, 2024. UltraTech Cement Ltd on Monday reported a 35.24 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,258.58 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024. The leading cement maker had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,670.10 crore in the January-March quarter of the last fiscal, according to a regulatory filing from UltraTech. Its revenue from operations rose 9.41 per cent to Rs 20,418.94 crore during the period under review. It was at Rs 18,662.38 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Shoppers Stop Q4 consolidated net profit rises 62.55 pc to Rs 23.18 cr

New Delhi, April 29, 2024. Retail chain Shoppers Stop Ltd on Monday reported a 62.55 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 23.18 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 14.26 crore in the same period a year-ago, Shoppers Stop said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,046.34 crore as against Rs 923.90 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

RBI sets draft norms for web aggregators of loan products

New Delhi, April 29, 2024. The Reserve Bank of India has proposed that banks and non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) should ensure that their loan service providers (LSPs) to provide a digital view of all the loan offers available to the borrower from all the willing lenders that the LSP has arrangements. The digital view, the RBI said, should include the name of the bank of the NBFC extending the loan, the amount and tenor of loan, the annual percentage rate and other key terms and conditions in a way that enables the borrower to make a fair comparison between various offers. ICICI Bank shares gain after Q4 results

New Delhi, April 29, 2024. ICICI Bank shares surged over 3% to reach an intra-day high of Rs 1,142 on Monday after the private sector bank announced its Q4 results over the weekend. The bank reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 11,671.52 crore, marking an 18.4% year-on-year increase.
