Three consecutive quarters of record sales growth for JLR India

Mumbai, 11 January 2024.JLR India reported three consecutive quarters of record sales, selling 3,582 units and experiencing a remarkable year-on-year (YoY) growth of 93%in the nine-month period ending 31 December 2023. Sales of e-cars will increase by 115% to cross 82 thousand in 2023

Jaipur, January 11, 2024.Sales of Electric Vehicles (EV) are increasing rapidly in the country. 15.30 lakh EVs were sold in 2023, which is 49.25% more than 2022. 10.25 lakh EVs were sold in 2022, but during the same period, sales of electric cars increased by 115% to above 82,000.82,105 electric cars sold in 2023. This is more than double i.e. 114.71% of the 38,240 e-cars sold in 2022. Last month, the share of electric cars in total car sales in the country increased to 2.5%, which was 1.3% in December 2022.
