CBSE exams will start from 15th February

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the datesheet of 10th and 12th board exam to be held in the year 2024. Board exams for class 10th and 12th will start from 15th February. Class 10th papers will end on March 13 and Class 12th papers will end on April 2nd.

In the 10th board exam, the paper of each subject will be of total 80 marks. The remaining 20 marks will be graded through periodic tests, assignments and skill based activities or project work. In 10th board exam, 40% questions will be MCQ type, 20% will be situation based questions and 40% questions will be short or long answer type. All questions have to be solved in three hours.

In the 12th board exam, the papers of Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics will be of 80 marks, 20 marks will be given on the basis of internal test. Physics, Chemistry and Biology paper will be of 70 marks and practical exam will be of 30 marks. The paper of all other subjects will be of 80 marks only and 20 marks will be given on the basis of project/assignment. All questions have to be solved in three hours.
