Devender Yadav to be interim Delhi Congress chief after Arvinder Lovely’s exit

Jaipur, April 30, 2024.

Former MLA and the party’s Punjab in-charge Devender Yadav was appointed by the Congress as the interim president of its Delhi unit. The development comes two days after Arvinder Singh Lovely resigned as Delhi Congress chief, criticising the party’s alliance with AAP in the city for the Lok Sabha polls.

Devender Yadav, who was an MLA from Delhi’s Badli, is presently the Congress’s Punjab in-charge.
