A fire broke out in the microbiological ward at SMS Medical College, Jaipur. On receiving information about the fire, watchman Subhash informed the fire brigade and police. On this, 3 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Seeing the huge extent of the fire, the police also called the civil defense on the spot. The fire could be controlled after about 2 hours of effort.
AFO Subham Sharma said that Ghatgate control room received information about the fire at 5.25 am. On this, one fire engine was sent to the spot. The fire broke out in the microbiological ward, in which machines, documents and many equipment worth lakhs of rupees were kept. The fire took a huge form in no time. On this, two more fire engines were called to the spot.
After the fire in the Advanced Microbiology Lab of SMS Medical College, Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar visited and saw the situation there. He asked to form a team to investigate this entire matter and submit its report.
