MG Motor India launched the Blackstorm Edition of its flagship SUV Hector in India. The Blackstorm Edition is based on the Sharp Pro variant below the top model of Hector and Hector Plus and will be available in 5, 6 and 7 seat configurations. More than 75 connected features have been provided in the car. It has a digital Bluetooth key, which the user can share.
The special edition SUV gets some cosmetic upgrades over the standard model, including an all-black shade, red inserts on the exterior and an all-black cabin. Its prices start at Rs 21.25 lakh for the petrol-CVT variant, going up to Rs 22.76 lakh for the diesel-MT 6-seater variant (both prices ex-showroom).
Hector Blackstorm is the third Blackstorm edition of the company after Gloster and Astor. Customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Its delivery will be started soon. The MG Hector BlackStork Edition competes with the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, while the Hector Plus BlackStork will take on the Tata Safari Dark Edition.
