Jaipur, February 20, 2025.The Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) has uncovered a massive GST evasion of ₹700 crore during raids at 15 locations of scrap dealers across Rajasthan. The Jaipur Zonal Unit of DGGI carried out operations in Jaipur, Sikar, Udaipur, and Bhilwara, exposing large-scale tax fraud.During the raids, documents were seized related to the supply of 13 lakh tons of goods, with a total market value estimated at ₹4,000 crore.Investigations revealed that these transactions were carried out without proper GST compliance, leading to a staggering tax evasion of ₹700 crore.
