The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has cancelled the Class 12 Business Studies exam after discovering that the question paper was a repeat of the previous year’s.
- The exam took place on 23 March.
- Around 30,000 Commerce students appeared for it across the state.
The decision to cancel the exam came after multiple complaints were registered on the board’s helpline, prompting officials to take action.
- An investigation has now been launched to determine how the error occurred.
- Disciplinary action is set to be taken against the teacher responsible for preparing the paper.
Board officials stated in a tweet that action will be taken against the person responsible for setting the question paper. Describing it as a case of negligence, RBSE has announced disciplinary measures against the teachers involved in preparing the paper.
