Ayodhya, June 19, 2025.
A special kitchen named ‘Sita Rasoi’ has been set up inside the Ram temple in Ayodhya for preparing food offerings for Ram Lalla.
Two cooks have been appointed to make bhog (offerings) every morning and evening for the child form of Lord Ram.
Temple authorities are also thinking about offering this bhog to devotees as prasad. However, a final decision on this has not been taken yet.
A kitchen area was built during Ramlalla’s Pran Pratishtha on January 22, 2024, but it was not very well organized.
Now both floors of the temple along with the ground floor have been completed. On June 5, 2025, Lord Ram’s statue was also already incarnated on the first floor. Additionally, deities have also been incarnated in 8 other temples.
As such, new arrangements have been made for the offerings to the deities.
A new kitchen has now been prepared near the Annapurna Devi temple. Arrangements have been made to prepare morning, afternoon and evening offerings in it.
This kitchen is more high-tech than before. The kitchen has been equipped with refrigerators and mixers so that offerings can be prepared according to the season.
