Jaipur, April 01, 2025.Traveling from Jaipur to Delhi, Kota and Sikar will become expensive for car, bus and truck drivers. Tax charges have been increased at seven toll booths. The new toll rates will be effective from Monday midnight.The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has increased rates at one toll booth on Jaipur Ring Road, Daulatpura booth on Ajmer-Delhi bypass, and at Manoharpur and Shahjahanpur tolls on Jaipur-Delhi Old Highway. Earlier, toll tax was also increased on the Jaipur-Kishangarh highway.According to the new rates, car drivers will now have to pay Rs 200 instead of Rs 190 at the Shahjahanpur toll. I-T dept imposes Rs 944 cr penalty on IndiGo; airline to contest order

New Delhi, March 30,2025.The Income Tax Department has slapped a penalty of Rs 944.20 crore on IndiGo, which said it will contest the order that is "erroneous and frivolous".The order was received by InterGlobe Aviation, the parent of the country's largest airline IndiGo, on Saturday.In a regulatory filing on Sunday, IndiGo said the assessment unit of the Income Tax Department (Income Tax Authority) has passed an order imposing Rs 944.20 crore penalty for assessment year 2021-22.

New Delhi, March 25,2025.Indian carriers will operate a total of 25,610 flights per week during the summer schedule this year compared to 24,275 weekly flights in the same period last year, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday.This translates to a 5.50 per cent year-on-year growth in the total number of departures per week.Compared to the ongoing winter schedule, which ends on March 29, the number of departures per week is up 2.41 per cent as the Indian carriers operated a total of 25,007 departures per week from 124 airports in the country, the DGCA said.

New Delhi, February 26, 2025.India's budget airline, SpiceJet, posted a consolidated net profit of ₹25 crore in the third quarter of FY25, recovering from a ₹301 crore loss in the same period last year.Revenue Decline & Quarterly GrowthSpiceJet’s operational revenue fell 35.35% YoY to ₹1,231 crore in Q3, compared to ₹1,904 crore in Q3 FY24.However, revenue increased 35.12% QoQ from ₹911 crore in Q2 FY25.“Total revenue surged by 35% to ₹1,651 crore, driven by strong passenger demand, improved yields and enhanced operational efficiency.
